Our discovery brings a solution mimicking the natural development of foie gras in goose,
while respecting its well-being.

How does it work?

Before birth each hatchling is sterile in the egg, like mammals before leaving the womb.
In the first hours after hatching, maternal bacteria naturally colonizes newborns. These bacteria settle into the intestine of the newborns to establish an ecosystem. In the flock, a few weeks are necessary for the establishment of this flora.

This intestinal flora eats what is eaten and provides the body with the nutrients it needs to grow.

The quality and diversity of the bacterial enzymes that settle in the gut at birth are essential for the proper functioning of the body.

The natural overfeeding of geese preparing to migrate is essential for storing energy reserves, and allow long distances without feeding. This overconsumption alters the intestinal flora and allows it to develop new abilities.

These capacities are then transmitted to the goslings just after the hatching and will allow the future adult goose to store the energy necessary for its migration.

The goslings will grow freely under comfortable farming conditions, free to feed and move around as they please.

We attach special importance to the quality of food offered to our geese, currently guaranteed without GMO, our ambition is to feed them 100% organic.

Thus, Aviwell mimics nature by preparing the goslings from birth to spontaneously develop naturally fatty liver for their migration.

The comfort and well-being of geese is our priority. Our facilities allow them to be in the best conditions (food, space, outdoor area...).
